John E. Andrus Memorial, dba Andrus on Hudson is proud to announce that, Jon V. Kole has been selected to join the not-for-profit senior care community on January 6, 2020 in its newly created role of Chief Operating Officer & Administrator. As part of a 60+ year commitment to meeting the needs of senior adults, Andrus on Hudson currently specializes in Rehabilitation & Post-Acute Care, Long Term Care, Memory Care, Hospice/Palliative Care & Respite Care and is poised for additional growth and diversification of services.

Jon Kole joins Andrus on Hudson after eight years of service at RiverSpring Health featuring the Hebrew Home at Riverdale and has a decade of experience in Long Term Care. Prior to this work, he spent almost five years working in investment banking and financial services for Bear Stearns and J.P. Morgan Chase.
Mr. Kole has been involved in many cutting-edge initiatives, spanning both clinical and non-clinical areas. He holds a unique skill set comprised of both financial and healthcare experience and applies them to various projects and day-to-day operational tasks.

Mr. Kole graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Fordham University with a B.A. in economics and from Fordham Graduate School of Business with a Masters in Business Administration. He is also a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the state of New York.
Andrus on Hudson is home to approximately 200 residents and employs a dedicated team of 275 staff members. Built by Helen Andrus Benedict as a memorial to her father, John Emory Andrus, a Yonkers businessman, mayor and representative to the United States Congress, the facility opened in 1953 as a retirement home for teachers, firemen, and other retired government workers. The organization has been governed by Andrus family members since that time. The current board is highly engaged and includes fourth and fifth generation Andrus family members as well as local community leaders, academics and health care practitioners.
