Organize & direct the delivery of health care services for a defined population of residents through appropriate utilization of Nursing Services Personnel.  Must be RN in good standing and currently licensed by N.Y.S.  CPR certified, computer literate. BSN preferred. At least 1 year of management experience in Hospital or Long Term setting. Positive attitude towards elderly.
Provide direct nursing care to the residents and to supervise the day to day activities By LPN’s and C N A’s in accordance with current federal, state and local standards governing the facility to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. Must be RN in good standing and currently licensed by N.Y.S. CPR certified, computer literate. Positive attitude towards elderly.
To participate in the planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care with in the objectives, standards and policies of the department and within the parameter of his or her preparation. Current N.Y. S. Licensure. CPR Certification, computer literate. Positive attitude towards the elderly.
To provide direct resident care under the supervision of an RN/LPN and to assist in maintaining a positive physical, social and psychological environment for the residents. High School graduate or equivalent. Current NYS Nursing Assistant Certification. Computer literate. Positive attitude towards the elderly.
Prepare & serve nourishing, attractive meals and other foods as required to support the menu specific to diet orders and other facility food events. To prepare meals according to planned menus and standardized recipes in a sanitary manner to assure the utmost in quality with minimum of waste. High School Diploma or Equivalent. Hospital/Nursing home cooking preferred. Proven experience in quantity cooking. Knowledge of various cooking methods. Serve Safe Certificate preferred, CPR certified.
Serve meals to the residents in a safe, sanitary, efficient accurate and courteous manner. Additionally performs a variety of food service tasks including operation of the dish machine, pot/pan washing, delivery of food trays, nourishments, trash collection & disposal, sweeping, mopping and general cleaning of areas and equipment. These tasks are to be performed in compliance with all policies and procedures of the facility and in accordance with N.Y.S. Dept. of Health regulations. High School Diploma or Equivalent. CPR Certification. Positive attitude towards the elderly.
To maintain the facility and equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, to ensure that a successful maintenance program is maintained at all times. Perform skilled repairs on: plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems throughout the facility.Maintain professional knowledge and competence in plumbing electrical and mechanical systems. Perform driving duties as required. High School Diploma or equivalency. Completion of appropriate trade school, apprentice program or related experience a high degree of mechanical aptitude. Must be able to read, write and understand English.
Five years’ experience in building maintenance or applicable work experience. License Registration: Driver’s license required without restrictions. Must have a passion for working with the elderly. Must be on available for possible emergency work, nights and weekends. Must be available in emergencies for additional assignments.
Clean and service assigned areas, perform laundry tasks and linen supply system tasks. Maintain safe environment, cares for cleaning equipment and safely and efficently uses supplies and equipment. High School Diploma or equivalent. Positive attitude towards the elderly.
