Provide direct nursing care to the residents and to supervise the day to day activities By LPN’s and C N A’s in accordance with current federal, state and local standards governing the facility to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. Must be RN in good standing and currently licensed by N.Y.S. CPR certified, computer literate. Positive attitude towards elderly.
To participate in the planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care with in the objectives, standards and policies of the department and within the parameter of his or her preparation. Current N.Y. S. Licensure. CPR Certification, computer literate. Positive attitude towards the elderly.
To provide direct resident care under the supervision of an RN/LPN and to assist in maintaining a positive physical, social and psychological environment for the residents. High School graduate or equivalent. Current NYS Nursing Assistant Certification. Computer literate. Positive attitude towards the elderly.
Prepare & serve nourishing, attractive meals and other foods as required to support the menu specific to diet orders and other facility food events. To prepare meals according to planned menus and standardized recipes in a sanitary manner to assure the utmost in quality with minimum of waste. High School Diploma or Equivalent. Hospital/Nursing home cooking preferred. Proven experience in quantity cooking. Knowledge of various cooking methods. Serve Safe Certificate preferred, CPR certified.
To maintain the facility and equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, to ensure that a successful maintenance program is maintained at all times. Perform skilled repairs on: plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems throughout the facility.Maintain professional knowledge and competence in plumbing electrical and mechanical systems. Perform driving duties as required. High School Diploma or equivalency. Completion of appropriate trade school, apprentice program or related experience a high degree of mechanical aptitude. Must be able to read, write and understand English.
Five years’ experience in building maintenance or applicable work experience. License Registration: Driver’s license required without restrictions. Must have a passion for working with the elderly. Must be on available for possible emergency work, nights and weekends. Must be available in emergencies for additional assignments.
